Sacred Medicine Woman LA 2013

 Remember how I was talking about how amazing Sacred Pregnancy is?  I had the privilege of attending a retreat with their sister company, Sacred Medicine Woman!  We learned how to make tinctures, body care products (yes, even soap!) and got pampered all weekend.  The setting was in beautiful LA.  It was my first time in California; what an introduction to the place.  There are more retreats coming soon, so I would highly recommend going to the Sacred Medicine Woman website and signing up!  For now, enjoy the pictures  :-) All pictures are by big red sun photos and Myrriah Raimbault

Sacred Pregnancy

I am obsessed with this new movement called Sacred Pregnancy!  The message is just what I am looking for-- connection and community in women surrounding all times of a woman's life but most notably in pregnancy.  It includes herbal considerations, red tents, natural fertility methods, blessingways, and bringing couples more intimately together!  What is not to love?  I think the concepts would be lost on most people but it's hard not to be intrigued because the pictures are absolutely DIVINE!  Check it out for yourself:
